Any ideas? I have so many things I want to incorporate for Adrian's groom's cake that if I do it, it might come out as one big (maybe hot) mess.
Help!

Favors
When Adrian and I were thinking about favors, we wanted something that will be filipino-like, useful, and classy. One of our other wedding sponsors, Roseanne Davila, gave us this idea to give salad servers. We really liked this idea but we did not know where to even begin getting at least a hundred of these things.
So, my future mom-in-law went on a search when she went to Manila. Here's what she found for us:

Looking at both price and quality, we decided on the wooden spoon/fork. Orders are in and will hopefully be getting shipped in the end of June. :)
Clothes for Little People
When I went to Calla Bridal for my first fitting, I came across another dress for the flower girl.
Also, when my future mom-in-law went to the Philippines, she purchased the ring and coin bearers outfits. They are going to be little Filipino men running around. Hehe..
Sooo adorable! So, now, I am rethinking the first dress I chose. Hmm......
Wedding dress alterations
As soon as Adrian proposed, I knew I wanted to wear my mom's dress when she got married. However, when I saw it, it was quite the late 80's and early 90's fashion. BIG ballroom skirt and a constricting top that will prevent me from giving hugs to people.
So, when I went to Calla Bridal in Seattle to help me modernize the dress. Cheing, the seamstress from Calla, is a blessing! She has such great ideas and when she showed me her new design, I LOVED it. I obviously cannot show it here since Adrian might snoop around, but I can't wait to post pictures of it during the big day.

Frustrations
OMG! I have not been keeping up with this blog!
In late February, my car got broken into and my whole work bag/life got stolen which includes my planner. And if anybody knows me well enough, I am nothing without that thing.
With that said, Adrian and I had our first mishap with this wedding planning. I flew down to Florida on April 9 to meet with the priest that will marry us to discuss our "compatibility exam" and our biographies (oh yes...biographies). Apparently, we agreed to meet at 11 am and from memory, I thought it was 11:30. Oops! Totally missed it and now, the priest does not want to meet with us. :( I will not be able to fly down until August. It's kind of stressing me out, but thank goodness for Adrian for keeping his cool.
Ahhh - 5 more months!!!
